There are Four Ways to Start or Enable or Run Your PC in Safe Mode in Windows 10

1. Using “Shift (Button) + Restart (Option)” from Sign-in Screen

2. Using System Configuration Tool

3. Using Advanced Startup Recovery Settings

4. Using Command Prompt

Hi Guys, Today I am Going to tell you to How to Start/Run Your PC in Safe mode in Windows 10?

 

Method 1: Using “Shift (Button) + Restart (Option)” from Sign-in Screen

Step 1: Press & Hold Shift Button, Click the Windows Icon and Select Power Option, and Click the Restart Option. ( With Shift Key Pressed )

(Or)

Step 1: Go to the Sign-in Screen, Press & Hold Shift Button Click the Power Option, and Click the Restart Option. ( With Shift Key Pressed )

Step 2: Now Windows 10 Reboots and Now Select the Troubleshoot Option.

Step 3: On Troubleshoot Screen, Select the Advanced Option.

Step 4: On the Advanced Options Screen, Select the Startup Settings Option.

If you can’t see the Startup Settings, Click See more recovery options.

Step 5: On the Startup Settings Screen, Hit the Restart Button.

Step 5: After Windows 10 Restarts, You can Choose the Different Booting Options.

Standard Safe Mode – Press 4 or the F4 key
Safe Mode with Networking – Press 5 or F5
Safe Mode with Command Prompt – Press either 6 or F6

 

Method 2: Using System Configuration Tool

Step 1: First of all Right Click on the Start and Search For RUN Program in Your Windows 10.

Step 2: Now Type the Command msconfig and Press Enter to open the System Configuration.

Step 3: Now Navigate Boot Section and Select the Safe Boot Option and Choose Minimal Option and Press OK.

Step 4: Now Press the Restart Button to Restart your PC.

 

Method 3: Using Advanced Startup Recovery Settings

Step 1:  Press Windows Button and Select the Settings Option Or Search Recovery Options in Search Bar and Open it.

Step 2: Now select the Update & Security Option in the Settings Screen.

Step 3: Navigate to Recovery Settings and Advanced Startup Restart Now Button.

Step 4: Now Windows 10 Reboots and Now Select the Troubleshoot Option.

Step 5: On Troubleshoot Screen, Select the Advanced Option.

Step 6: On the Advanced Options Screen, Select the Startup Settings Option.

If you can’t see the Startup Settings, Click See more recovery options.

Step 7: On the Startup Settings Screen, Hit the Restart Button.

Step 8: After Windows 10 Restarts, You can Choose the Different Booting Options.

Standard Safe Mode – Press 4 or the F4 key

Safe Mode with Command Prompt – Press either 6 or F6

 

Method 4: Using Command Prompt

Step 1: Use Shift + Restart Method to Restart Windows 10 and Now Select the Troubleshoot Option.

Step 2: On Troubleshoot Screen, Select the Command Prompt Option.

Step 3: A Command Prompt Window will Appear Type the following code.

bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal

bcdedit /set {default} safeboot minimal

Step 4:Now Close the Command Prompt and Click Continue.

Note – After Finishing the Process You have to Disable it Otherwise it will automatically load into Safe Mode every time.

Follow the Same Process to Disable it. Use the Following Code to Disable.

bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot

bcdedit /deletevalue {default} safeboot
